busy main street, dusting of snow, Fox News, wind blowing through the pines

i am remembering . . .
weekend plans completely pre-empted by pesty colds, a quick visit from college daughter, fine-dining at home, successful Rite Aid trip.

i am thankful  . . .
not a busy week, a couple days to recover, health insurance
*****
from the kitchen . . .
dirty pots and pans, lobster carcasses for fish stock, peanut butter blossoms, various droppings from the weekend to be returned to their rightful places.

I am thinking . . .
doctor appointments are necessary for our son and me
*****

around the learning rooms . . .
not much happening today! AND lots of makeup later in the week.

hot tea with lemon, soft Kleenex, an old black & white movie

snowboarding day-trip, surprise lunch visit with dear friends, a hurting daughter recuperating, Olive Garden, cream of progresso soup, dark chocolate kisses, visiting 2 year old child, visiting 7 wk old (adorable) puppy, a full house and full weekend,
amazed by God’s timing.

a home that stretches to welcome many, safe travels for our daughter, reconnecting with 2 dear college friends

new puzzle on the table, a very dirty floor from weekend traffic, thoughts of sweet rolls, chicken noodle soup, birthday wrappings, a lovely new fringed wrap

i am thankful  . . .
a warm home to offer rest and recovery to college students, our daughter’s choices of friends, safe travels back to school, snowdays, homeschool, the Word of God

from the kitchen . . .
black & gold bagels, leftover dips & chips, coffee;, empty of coats, shoes, and boots; hats and gloves drying rack; bags of party trash, homemade ketchup, italian red sauce

I am thinking . . .
the silliness of groundhog day, women’s ministry, head cold goes away, how do successful & intelligent people ‘forget’ to pay their taxes, exercising,

updating the grocery excel sheet, menu planning, finish painting fireplace,(yes, some of these were not finished last week J) Scripture for women’s ministry tea, developing a cleaning schedule, reorganizing my day — posting in the evening instead of the morning, recovering my morning routine, stripping guest beds and recovery from a full house this weekend!
