I truly enjoy savoring the weekends and planning for the week ahead, thinking out loud about discerning issues, pondering Scripture,  while encouraging my heart to be full of thankfulness and grace. I discovered a simple tool to that fosters order and humility into my life by pausing & preparing early Monday mornings for the new week. busy main street, dusting of snow, Fox News, wind blowing through the pines

weekend plans completely pre-empted by pesty colds, a quick visit from college daughter, fine-dining at home, successful Rite Aid trip.

i am thankful  . . .
not a busy week, a couple days to recover, health insurance

from the kitchen . . .
dirty pots and pans, lobster carcasses for fish stock, peanut butter blossoms, various droppings from the weekend to be returned to their rightful places.

doctor appointments are necessary for our son and me

not much happening today! AND lots of makeup later in the week.
