~**~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*
this morning from my kitchen chair . . .
grey dawn, fresh snow, cardinal at feeder
*****
i am remembering . . .
snowboarding day-trip, surprise lunch visit with dear friends, a hurting daughter recuperating, Olive Garden, cream of progresso soup, dark chocolate kisses, visiting 2 year old child, visiting 7 wk old (adorable) puppy, a full house and full weekend,
amazed by God’s timing.
*****
i am thankful . . .
a home that stretches to welcome many, safe travels for our daughter, reconnecting with 2 dear college friends
*****
from the kitchen . . .
new puzzle on the table, a very dirty floor from weekend traffic, thoughts of sweet rolls, chicken noodle soup, birthday wrappings, a lovely new fringed wrap
*****
I am thinking . . .
God’s provision for each member of my family, trying to step aside and allow God’s perfect plan to flow unhindered
*****
I am reading . . .
Morning/Evening: Daily Readings by C.H. Spurgeon
*****
my favorite things . . .
friends, time with our adult children, homemade anything
*****
a few plans for the rest of the week . . .
doctor appointment, Wednesday home party, homemade laundry soap, committed to nothing but cleaning out the home office & designing a cleaning/home management schedule
*****
a verse of Scripture . . .
“I will never leave Thee.”
Hebrews 13:5

Sounds like you have a wonderful open home filled with love and respite.
My favorite thing at Olive Garden is their Zuppa Toscana soup (not sure if I spelled that right…)
Have a wonderful week!

You have a lovely blog. I enjoyed your daybook. I would love to have a snow. I will have to go to a place with snow soon. I’m losing hope of any here. I love Olive Garden too. I hope you have a wonderful week, Doylene
