 ~**~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*

this morning

from my front porch . . .  a heavy mist blankets the pine trees and gardens

i am thinking . . . about a fresh, new, day and all its possibilities

i am hearing . . . a  cardinal chirping for her mate

i am thankful  . . . to tend a pet-hair filled home and a weedy garden

from the kitchen . . .  overflowing with tomatoes calling my name

i am still reading . . . Death by Darjeeling (A Tea Shop Mystery)

i am hoping . . . for a couple more weeks on the front porch

i am planning . . . painting the living room with a bright linen color

around the house . . . quiet with peaceful anticipation

one of my favorite things . . . changing seasons

a few plans for the rest of the week . . . swapping summer supplies (towels, lanterns) for winter supplies (hats, mittens, & scarves); garden preparations for winter

Here is a picture thought I am sharing with you . . .
